How frequently should industrial emergency generators be maintained and inspected?

I am looking for test run time and how often should these be done? What is the code that governs this requirement?

2. It depends on what the generators is being used for. In hospitals and healthcare (US) the emergency generators must be tested once a month. This is a requirement for hopsitals. I don't think there is a code for othe uses. Some generators are tested annually if there is not a requirement by code or state.
3. We used to test generators once per month and run them for 15-30 minutes. Hope this helps.
